The Bamburgh Castle is one of the largest inhabited castles in the UK. Located in north east England, right by the beach on the shores of Northumberland. With a recorded history going back to the year 547, Bamburgh Castle played a central role in many of the historic periods of this region. In 1894, Bamburgh Castle was bought by Lord William Armstrong for £60,000. To this day the castle is inhabited by the Armstrong family.
