The Angel of the North is located in Gateshead, Northeast of England, UK.
The steel sculpture, Britain’s largest, was commissioned to Turner prize-winning artist Antony Gormley by the Gateshead Council.
Standing at over 20m tall and 54m wingspan (wider than a Boing 757), the Angel of the North is one of England’s most recognisable landmarks.

A Tiger R6 from Tiger Racing. Found this one parked on Holyrood Park, Edinburgh, Scotland. The licence plate was, of course, modified to avoid privacy issues. Actually, I'm not completely sure this is an R6, since these models are extremely customizable.

While walking on the Royal Botanic Gardern in Edinburgh, Scotland, I came across what appeared to be a lost glove, placed in the middle of a rose bush. It was somewhat a strange place for a glove, so I decided to photograph it. Just a few minutes later, also in the botanic garden, I came across another lost glove, also pink, and also placed on an odd spot: over the largest tree fossil in Scotland (Pitys withamii). Although the individual frames can be considered nice photos, when composed together, in my opinion, make a much more compelling and interesting image.

An empty bottle of Reissdorf Kölsh left on a park, Cologne, Germany. Reissdorf is one of the most famous brands of Koelsh (traditional beer from Cologne). Since its foundation in 1894, the Privat-Brauerei Heinrich Reissdorf kept growing and boasts now a production of over 66 million liters a year. And no, I'm not being paid to say this, I just liked the beer :)

Pole on the Inveraray Ferry Terminal, facing Loch Fyne, Scotland. Mountains across Loch Shira as background. Inveraray (Inbihir Aora in Gaelic), is a picturesque little town on the western shore of Loch Fyne and is made popular by the Inveraray Castle and the Historic Jail.

On a bike ride on the shores of the Rhine, we stopped at this resting spot and I noticed this rock placed on the edge of the bench. Such a detail had to be captured.
