Pathway to the Lighthouse
St Mary’s Lighthouse.
The lighthouse is located on a tiny tidal island and accessible through a short causeway, just north of Whitley Bay, England. The high tide covers part of the causeway to the island, making it inaccessible on foot.
The lighthouse, decommissioned in 1984, is open to the public as a small museum.
